Why the come back?
Many of you know that in early March 2024, I made the difficult decision to discontinue Dream Vision Tarot. At the time, the deck was being bootlegged, and I was in the midst of moving from one state to another, trying to lay down roots after leaving a tech-world lifestyle in California in 2022. Like anyone navigating their spiritual awakening journey, the transition was anything but easy. I faced many challenges and struggles, but I do not regret the decision because it forced me to confront unhealthy attachments and traumas that had been masked by the comfort of a “secure tech job”. I heard my calling and chose to follow it, and during this time, I slowly rebuilt my connection with the Divine.
The Counterfeit Situation
I created a video reviewing the counterfeit deck. This entire incident made me rethink the strategy for Dream Vision Tarot moving forward. If you're interested, you can find the video on my YouTube channel @DreamVisionSpace.
Ironically, shortly after announcing the discontinuation of Dream Vision Tarot, people began asking when I would bring it back. At first, I didn’t take it seriously, but as the inquiries became more frequent, I couldn’t ignore them any longer. It felt like a sign from the Universe speaking through others. Although I knew I wanted to bring back Dream Vision Tarot, I didn’t want to simply replicate what I had done before—I was waiting for inspiration.
The spark that inspired this edition.
One day, while sitting by my window enjoying morning tea, I admired a little prism gifted by a friend resting on The Fool card. I was amazed by the beauty of its reflection, and in that moment, an idea struck me: I wanted to give Dream Vision Tarot a deep transformation—a complete and total makeover. If the first edition of Dream Vision Tarot represents the energy of my spiritual awakening, I wanted this new edition to embody the cleansing and healing power of a spiritual journey.
Below is an overview of the updates for this edition, and there are more to come.
What’s New?
Packaging
Every side of the box is redrawn. More details coming soon…
A Close look of the box cover artwork
Drawing inspiration from the original artwork on the Dream Vision box cover, I drew a set of new artwork for this edition. A fresh look including the sides of the box and the inside tray are now part of this transformation. This new packaging seeks to capture the moment of the third eye awakening to the light, radiating its expansive and powerful energy into the ether. The elements such as flowers, swans, pearls, chi-sparks, stars and energy waves together representing the purest and most powerful force in the universe—Love.
Card Coating & Foil Stamping
Mockup of the card title and card back.
This time, the box and the cards will be coated with “Touch Ehanced Matte Lamination”; Exterior box cover, interior box tray, card name, card back and guidebook cover will all have holographic foil.
New Color System & New Artwork
The Major Arcana is often described as 'The Fool’s Journey.' Inspired by this concept, I chose to reimagine and re-color each Major Arcana card, drawing from the vibrant color theme of The Fool card—an image that came to me in a dream years ago when I had just started working on the first edition of Dream Vision Tarot. In addition, I’ve revised each card’s artwork based on my tarot reading experience for clients, friends, and family. I also infused the energies and visions I channeled in recent years during my meditations and spiritual practices.
For the Minor Arcana, each suit has its own distinct color theme. The Wand cards feature red-orange, the Cup cards use blue-pink, the Sword cards have gray-beige, and the Pentacle cards are adorned with green-yellow. Additionally, I revised the artwork on each card to ensure consistency. For some cards, significant changes have been made, such as the Six of Pentacles and the Ten of Cups. I will reveal more about these changes as we get closer to the release date in April 2025.
More Content for Guidebook
To support your tarot reading, I’ve expanded and refined the guidebook’s content. It now offers further explanations for each card, providing information to inspire your personal interpretations.
Project Timeline
The project is scheduled to launch on 09:30am EST April 16th 2025
I’ve learned my lessons from my Kickstarter project - Dream of Nile tarot, the fulfillment was dramatically delayed due to the holiday and miscommunication with the fulfillment agency. This time there will be less waiting time between crowdfunding end date and deliver date. Because, I've decided to invest in a portion of the project myself to start the production before the Kickstarter deadline.
